General Terms and Conditions for the Rental of Event Furniture, Audio, Video, Lighting, and Special Effects Equipment from Ekip Event, a brand of Ekip & Co Suisse S\u00e0rl<\/p>

1. Purpose of the Rental<\/strong>
These general terms and conditions govern the rental of event furniture and audiovisual equipment (hereinafter referred to as “the goods”) between Ekip & Co Suisse S\u00e0rl, Zone Industrielle Le Tr\u00e9si 9B, 1028 Pr\u00e9verenges (IDE: CHE-337-198.837) (hereinafter referred to as “the Lessor”) and the client (hereinafter referred to as “the Lessee”).<\/p>

2. Booking<\/strong>
The booking of the goods must be made in writing, by email, or via our website. A deposit of 20% to 50% of the total amount is required to confirm the booking. <\/p>

3. Rental Period<\/strong>
The rental period is specified in the quote, which will serve as the rental agreement if accepted by the client. Any extension of the rental period must be agreed upon in writing with the Lessor and may incur additional charges. <\/p>

4. Delivery, Installation, and Return<\/strong>
The Lessor undertakes to deliver and install the goods in good working order at the address agreed upon with the lessee. Delivery and installation fees will be specified in the quote. The Lessee must ensure that access to the venue is adequate for delivery. The lessee is required to return the goods to the address and on the date agreed upon with the lessor, in the same condition as upon delivery, with the exception of normal wear and tear. <\/p>

5. Liability<\/strong>
The Lessor disclaims all liability for damages caused by the goods, except in the case of hidden defects or manufacturing faults. The Lessee is solely responsible for the use of the goods and any consequences that may arise therefrom. <\/p>

7. Annulation<\/g>
En cas d’annulation de la r\u00e9servation, le Locataire doit en informer le Loueur par \u00e9crit. Les conditions d’annulation sont les suivantes :
– Annulation plus de 60 jours avant la date de location : remboursement de l\u2019acompte moins 200.- de frais administratifs
– Annulation entre 60 et 20 jours avant la date de location : perte de l’acompte.
– Annulation entre 20 et 5 jours avant la date de location : paiement de 50% du montant de la location
– Annulation moins de 5 jours avant la date de location : paiement int\u00e9gral du montant de la location.7. Cancellation<\/g>
In the event of a booking cancellation, the Lessee must inform the Lessor in writing. The cancellation conditions are as follows:
– Cancellation more than 60 days before the rental date: refund of the deposit less 200.- in administrative fees
– Cancellation between 60 and 20 days before the rental date: forfeiture of the deposit.
– Cancellation between 20 and 5 days before the rental date: payment of 50% of the rental amount

The parties are released from their obligations in the event of force majeure preventing the execution of the rental agreement.9. Paiement<\/strong>
Le solde de la location doit \u00eatre r\u00e9gl\u00e9 au plus tard 5 jours avant la date de livraison. Les paiements peuvent \u00eatre effectu\u00e9s par carte bancaire, virement ou esp\u00e8ces.9. Payment<\/strong>
The balance of the rental must be paid no later than 5 days before the delivery date. Payments can be made by credit card, bank transfer, or cash.10. R\u00e9solution<\/strong>
En cas de non-respect par l’une des parties de ses obligations, l’autre partie pourra r\u00e9silier le pr\u00e9sent contrat de plein droit, moyennant un pr\u00e9avis de 30 jours.10. Termination<\/strong>
In the event of non-compliance by one of the parties with its obligations, the other party may terminate this contract as of right, subject to 30 days’ notice.11. Litiges<\/strong>
En cas de litige, les parties s’engagent \u00e0 tenter de r\u00e9soudre le diff\u00e9rend \u00e0 l’amiable. \u00c0 d\u00e9faut,le litige sera soumis aux tribunaux comp\u00e9tents de Lausanne, conform\u00e9ment au droit suisse.11. Disputes<\/strong>
In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to attempt to resolve the disagreement amicably. Failing this, the dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Lausanne, in accordance with Swiss law.12. Modifications des conditions<\/strong>
Le Loueur se r\u00e9serve le droit de modifier ces conditions g\u00e9n\u00e9rales \u00e0 tout moment. Les modifications seront communiqu\u00e9es au Locataire et entreront en vigueur d\u00e8s leur publication.12. Amendments to the Conditions<\/strong>
The Lessor reserves the right to amend these general terms and conditions at any time. The amendments will be communicated to the Lessee and will come into effect upon their publication. <\/p>
